Workshop: Miele Dubai Food Photography and Styling Workshop

Miele Dubai Food Photography and Styling Workshop

Sometimes there are things that work so well that they just have to be repeated. Like Sally Prosser and me - we really harmonize and complement each other so well. After organizing and carrying through the Atlantis Food Photography and Styling Workshop in April this year, we just knew we had to do this again.

The Dubai: A Superlative Workshop at Atlantis, The Palm was a big success in April and after the reviews we got and what participants told us about how much they valued and benefited from the workshop, Sally and I wanted to offer another workshop for all those who mentioned their interest.

Here it is!

Miele Immer Besser low res We’ve taken what we did in April and re-modeled it slightly, offering more courses and more hands-on sessions in a packed 2 day workshop. To be able to work together more closely we have partnered with the incredible people at Miele who have offered us full access to their fantastic gallery. The gallery provides state of the art kitchen, presentation room, and lots of open, light-flooded rooms for styling and photographing in a private and relaxed atmosphere. Here we will work intensively together on honing your food styling and photography skills, with presentations, exercises and assignments, which I will guide and aid you to develop.

Furthermore, we have a few surprises in store over the period of the 2 days, with a few outstanding special guests joining us to prepare some awesome meals, giving us a taste of some culinary delights. We will experience first-hand from these professionals, working with them interactively to prepare enticing dishes and dining in style.

Wait! It does not stop here - we also have an amazing late afternoon and evening event planned on the first day at a stunning location. More will be revealed soon!

Have I whet your appetite?

Well then here are the details:

A few exciting updates on the upcoming Dubai Food Photography and Styling Workshop. We’ve integrated a new session to the programme and I am really excited that my dear friend Sally Prosser (the incredible hostess behind the workshop) will be holding a session on “Social Media Strategy for Food Blogging.” Sally will give us tips and share secrets on how to optimize our social media know-how for best results. As a Marketing Communications Consultant, specializing in Social Media Strategy, she has all the experience to lead this session.

A vital part of food styling is the props! Finding the right selection of props to match the mood and atmosphere of the image is an important factor. That is why I am extremely thrilled to announce our collaboration with Tavola ME. The folks at Tavola have literally opened their store for us and will be sponsoring all the props we need to set the perfect scene for our assignments.
