My IKEA Loot

IKEA_Loot02framed

I’ve been hitting IKEA for the past two days buying new furniture mostly but also looting the place for new props and fabrics. It was my lucky day actually as IKEA is having it’s midsummer sales and there were so many things on sale! Still it’s amazing how much a girl can spend when left alone at IKEA. My credit card was on fire! Here’s a sneak peak of a few of the things I bought!

I am now looking forward to using all these wonderful and colorful dishes, bowls and fabric. In the meantime here’s wishing you a happy Friday!

Hugs!

Love them all Meeta! I got a pretty plate at Ikea which I bubble wrapped and carried in my hand with a ramekins from the States. Family was looking expectantly at the bag thinking it'd be full of chocolates, but all it had was crockery!

Love it! I have a few of those same dishes from Ikea--I never thought to look at their fabric or tablecloths, great idea! Can't wait to see these with your wonderful food displayed.

Is Ikea paying you? They better, as you just inspired me to drive over to Ikea tomorrow. :)

IKEA really SHOULD pay you! This is exceptional advertising...now I must go to IKEA too. I need some new spoons anyway, and these prop ideas are just the thing!

thank you! i spent some of the weekend taking photos and i liked the effect the new stuff is giving. it's like new clothes you cannot wait to show them off! unfortunately IKEA is not paying me. I would not mind taking payment in vouchers to spend at IKEA though! HAHA!

Your IKEA has so much nicer stuff than my IKEA. Maybe I need to go shopping at your store instead (talk about really burning up the credit card to do that!)

Awesome loot Meeta! I know what you mean about being in IKEA...it's like my hands have a will of their own, grabbing anything that comes in their path!
