Foodies of the World: I’ve been Published and A Winner

Foodies of the World

Time is moving so fast. I said that a few days ago, didn’t I? But what I am loving is that there are so many things happening in my life right now that I can pretty much mark time with milestones.

I’ve shared many of them with you in the past several months and having you motivate me and cheer me on has been exceptional. Well I’ve got a little more to share with you.

Let me present to you Foodies of the World, an exceptional cookbook featuring some incredible recipes from exceptional food blogs around the world. This book has been put together with a lot of love by Slattery Media Group, with an elegant cover design, crisp matt paper and high quality images. Each blogger is highlighted with a personal biography, their recipes illustrated with delicious photographs, all coming together to make a spectacular “guide to the best on the web”. The best they truly are: fantastic bloggers like Ilva from Lucullian Delights; Jeanne of Cook Sister;  Hilda of Saffron & Blueberry; Julia from A Slice of Cherry Pie; Denise and Laudalino of Chez Us; Jaden from Steam Kitchen; Leemei of My Cooking Hut; Julia of Mélanger (To Mix); and Bea of La Tartine Gourmande and so many more are part of this book and I hold my breath as I tell you – yes I am too.

The book features over 100 recipes and 2 of them are from me! I wanted to highlight my Indian roots and selected 2 of my favorite Indian dishes. Foodies of the World can be purchased here and will make the perfect Christmas present that you will cherish for a long time.

I am also really excited to reveal the winner of my Hotel Chocolat giveaway: First off: I so enjoyed reading about the variety of chocolates that makes your world rock. There were some great comments and loved your stories. But there can be only one winner ….

Macs_0006-300px…. a box of Signature Dark Chocolate Collection from Hotel Chocolat goes out to CMorgetstern of Galerie Morgenstern in Göttingen, Germany. So, if CMorgenstern can contact me with your address details, it would be my absolute pleasure to pass it on to the folks at Hotel Chocolat. Congratulations!

I wish you a fabulous weekend. I’m flying to Munich tomorrow to work on a very exciting project – I’ll be developing flavors and scents for a Client and presenting some of my ideas. One of the ideas are these macarons you see here. I can’t reveal much about the project but I will reveal what flavor combination these macarons were all about when I return.

Wish me luck and be good while I’m gone!
